The two biggest ships of this fandom is Wincest and Destiel, and some people believe that you have to chose one or the other. Which is not correct.

It’s not the ship itself that people necessarily hate, it’s more so that there are people in the fandom who are very passionate about this ship and people get annoyed at how they conduct themselves. Destiel shippers along with Wincest shippers can say rude things about the other ships. Which leads to the ship getting ‘hate’ and then there are people who just don’t like either or. None of these people are wrong either but the way they go about ‘protecting’ their otp isn’t right either. It’s a very touchy subject and I’m not going to get too much into it, just remember you ship who you ship and that’s all that matters, as long as you enjoy it. Well that was terribly long so here are some fics for you!!

Well one good fanfiction writer I believe is highermagic, there are heaps other’s too!. Please don’t forget to read the warnings/tags on all the fics/authors I rec though. There are also a few here(these are all athletic alternate universe’s). 
Here is also some alpha/beta/omega fics. This lovely lady here also has a fic rec page. There is a blog called Destiel Fanfiction too so that will help you a lot!

I would also suggest:

• Tree House Verse - (Sam/Dean/Cas) Summers were spent in South Dakota with Uncle Bobby and down ‘round the bend and across the Dodger’s rickety fence lived Castiel’s family. It was always good, when they were together.

• Carry On - When Sam gets into Stanford, Dean needs a bigger paycheck than Bobby’s garage can give him. Luckily, he knows a guy.
